ozine fest cintiq test 10m-?

sorry, had no idea which category to throw this in. Went with screenshots cause it kinda shows the setup anyway

ozine fest had a Wacom booth with two Cintiqs set up, still wondering if they're going to send us the files or what, after all they did make us save them under our dA names...

done in maybe 10mins on Painter X, cause Vista is bastarded and after filling in a canvas with blue Photoshop CS2 went KABOOM so I had to restart, and before my turn I had to wait like half an hour for a girl to do her sketchy sketchy. I came to the booth, watched her draw, signed up, left, came back to her, she's still there, left again, came back, SHE'S STILL THERE (still sketching; wonder if she was planning to color that too), poked one of the people running the booth.

His response:

(You can use them) "as long as you like. As long as you're not tired of it."

TLDR, yeah, this was done while in a foul mood, cause of Vista, the random sketching person, and at the too-big-and-angled-too-high-and-PEN-TIP-IS-HALF-AN-INCH-BELOW-THE-REAL-TIP-WUT Cintiq 21UX, had to hold my elbow up so high I tired fast and therefore ditched after 10min. And of course with the pen tip like that I couldn't reach the taskbar...


all in all, I'm more willing to blame Vista instead of the Cintiq, but if anyone is planning to buy one I would suggest you get the 12WX, which is smaller, can be laid across your lap and was connected to a Mac, which didn't have the lag issues I did.

I hate you vista.
